It’s the little things we impliment that create a healthier lifestyle. Here are a few healthy swaps in my opinion to help us all stay on track:
Greek yoghurt instead of sour cream. I don’t really notice a different tbh on pastas and pizza.
Nuttlex butter oil of plants rather than animal fat- gotta be better for you
Chai tea over chai powder, alot of chai powders are full of fillers aka crap. I’m sure there are healthy alternatives out there though!
Any kind of plant based milk over full cream, there’s a massive debate over alternative milks but as a whole- alot less sugar and most likely higher water content= healthier
Honey or maple over sugar
Matcha (if you can get used to the taste) instead of/to alternate w coffee
Black beans on nacho’s instead of mince- yummmm
Nori sheet as a wrap instead of a bread wrap- lighter and so tasty
Lemon or lime in mineral water if you’re needing something other than water
Let vodka, lime soda’s or seltzers be your choice of alcohol
Use spring onion or cucumbers to dip instead of crackers
Almond or buckwheat flour to replace standard bleached flour
Read a book or a blog(I know a good one- twentysomethingtactics- @tullyjaybudarick) instead of a facebook post!
